My name is Susan Muniz and I’m Vendor 42 in Scranberry Coop. I started out as a customer, thrilled to see such a wonderful indoor market. I’m from Middlesesex , NJ now but I grew up splitting my time between Uniondale, NY, and Hemlock Farms in the Poconos That is where this journey begins.
As a young child, my parents used to take me antiquing all over the Poconos. Old Barns, hidden stores in homes, and anywhere we could go. I loved looking at and finding small treasures as they shopped to furnish two homes. These places were dusty and old. I loved it.
Fast forward to 2016. I met my now-husband who is a cell phone accessories vendor. He travels all over peddling his wares. We wanted to spend more time together, so I thought about my childhood dream of having an antiques store and CHASMAR Antiques and collectibles were born. I did all the local and not so local flea markets with my husband but I wanted a permanent home too. That’s when I reached out to Lori. I still remember the first day at Scranberry, when I set up my booth. A full circle dream realized.
Now I’m learning the business and loving every minute of it. CHASMAR is a combination of both of my parent’s names. Their love is of antiquing and hence, mine lives on at ” The Coop.”
TY to Lori and the Scranberry family for making me feel welcomed and for this opportunity.
